There I was thinking I’d be able to take a break and chill once I’m done with the last chapter in vol2, but what a big mistake that was. I totally forgot about the stressful job once I’m finished with a volume. All the work I’m doing now is even more stressful than all the work I do over the year on chapters. It’s the work that feels like I’m working in a company or under an editor/manager, because there is a real deadline for all this work. You see, once I have the page count and everything done, I contact the printing house to get a quote, but quotes have a limited time of 14 days, after that I need ot ask for a new quote coz the price might change (you know coz paper price could change from 2 weeks to another :/ )

And this year, it’s not only vol2, I have the monthly calendar and the sketchbook. And the calendar is the highest on my to-do now coz I needed it in the first week of October, coz it’s a calendar, you know for sale and all. I’m two illustrations away from finishing; November and December. Thankfully I finished sketching both so it’s a matter of lining and coloring at this point, which takes off a bit from the stress. So, let’s see… at best, I’ll have the two illustrations done by tomorrow which is doable but I’ll give them two days (one for each) so the calendar will be ready on Sep 18th. I’ll go on Wed (19th) to the printing press (let’s hope Dad is free coz the manager there is scary >>; ) and drop it off, it’ll need 7-10 working days to be ready, so if all goes smoothly as planned, I’ll have it up for sale in the first week of October.

I and 2 of my beta readers, finished revising the volume but it’s on hold regarding book arrangement until I’m done with the calendar. The book cover and the front and back covers will up on my list after the calendar because the 3rd big thing I’m working on right now is the sketchbook which I was already planning on releasing it for Grey is… Anniversary in November. It has some unreleased sketches, comic strips and a chapter that still need some work. I will be adding some notes and trivias (characters bdays, hobbies and what not) to the sketches which made me feel like it’s not a sketchbook anymore.

I searched around to find a proper name for the book. It has specials chapters, mini-stories (in comic-strip format or a two page chapter-like pages) and sketches which made me consider calling it a a logbook. All those sketches have a story to tell and were like a diary to me, considering I doodle/sketch on a daily basis so a logbook seemed fitting, to me at least. You can always throw your opinion here, I’d love to know.

So, Calendar > Vol2 > Sketchbook is my list for now.

I am (and will be) working on/off on some new merchandise; buttons, bookmarks, keychains (maybe) and magnets (maybe) but until I’m done with the big 3, I won’t have any announcements about new items added to the shop.

Thank you all for reading. I needed to let it out coz I’m already stressed over personal issues; my bunny Yuya is sick. I spent the whole day with and around her and the whole emotional stress prevented me from getting any work done, so I felt like writing about work, maybe it’d make me feel like I did something.

She has ear infection and fever. I’m giving her the ear drops and she’ll be injected with antibiotic for 4 days ( a trip to the vet which makes her awfully stressed…) . What I’m worrying most about is that she hasn’t eaten since yesterday morning which, like any bunny owner knows, is  a big threat. I can’t wait till it’s morning so I can take her to the vet.

She’s such a precious baby.
it’s so hard to see a lively hyper playful soul like hers all silent and ill.

Okay, I need to check on her and catch some sleep before going to the vet again for her shot.

Good night everyone~ <3
